Scott Hallsworth has been forging a mighty path in Japanese cuisine for nearly two decades, having worked for many years as Head Chef at the legendary Nobu in London and then later opening Nobu in Melbourne in his native Australia. He returned to the UK and in 2013 set up Kurobuta in Marble Arch. Not long after he established Kurobuta in Chelsea and in 2015 hosted a Kurobuta pop up at Harvey Nichol’s in London. In April 2015 Kurobuta was awarded the BMW Square Meal Award for Best New Restaurant. His first book, Junk Food Japan, will be published in 2016. Scott has appeared on BBC1’s flagship cookery programme, Saturday Kitchen.
